One of the best independent stores in Pittsburgh to find cool vintage items. The owner is super chill and is always friendly. I highly recommend checking out this place whenever in Southside

one of the few remaining "old south side stores" stop in if you want a taste of culture and buy anything. supporting this store is supporting South Side just go buy anything. perfect place for a random gift for Anyone. they'll have something.... so buy ANYTHING.

This place rocks, really cool inventory of collectibles, vintage clothing, media, and toys. A legit grab bag of everything. Store owners are great people, friendly puppies there too sometimes

I love this shop. The owner is so helpful and nice. The prices are great and there is so much to look at. The vintage toys were awesome and inexpensive. This is my favorite place in Pittsburgh!

This is a very cool shop, great for finding niche gifts and inexpensive little trinkets. My only complaint is that the owner is often not in/ the store isn't open despite it being posted as open. So far i have gone to this place three times during posted hours and found that the doors are still locked. I still give it a 5 because the man who runs the store is extraordinarily friendly and when it is open i am never disappointed.

Was visiting Carson Street with no real agenda other than to find a record store and stumbled upon this absolute gem of a store! I had to walk in and was transported to a different place and time. Amazing stickers and patches filled with nostalgia. An incredible line up of clothing and jewelry. The staff was very attentive and kind, spent a little time talking to the owner, great dude! After a purchase I just couldn’t walk out the front door without, he offered us free gifts on the way out on top of the root beer barrel candies! What an experience! I can’t wait to come back with more money and time!

Lived in Southside for years and Slacker’s boutique thrift shop is a mainstay on East Carson. Wonderful owner! I hope the shop stays around for years to come.
